World Bicycle Relief 18 hrs You can help us close out 2019 with a bang: 500,000 bicycles in the hands of students, healthcare workers and entrepreneurs around the world. Mission: World Bicycle Relief's mission is to mobilize people through the Power of Bicycles; we envision a world where distance is no longer a barrier to education, healthcare and economic opportunity. Results: Since 2005, we have provided more than 400,000 bicycles and trained more than 1,900 local mechanics. Our bicycles get students to school on time, keep volunteer caregivers connected with their clients and haul farmers' goods to market across Africa, South America and Southeast Asia. Cascade Cycling Club. They are the biggest cycling club in country. They put on the biggest and most well known rides (Chilly Hilly, Seattle To Portland, Flying Wheels Century, Ride Around Washington, Kitsap Fall Color Classic). They produce the Seattle Bike Expo and Bike Swap every spring. They run daily rides throughout the region. World Bicycle Relief mobilizes people through The Power of Bicycles. They are committed to helping people conquer the challenge of distance, achieve independence and thrive. For many people in rural regions of developing countries, poverty is a daily reality.
